Hi, I'm Christine!

 

I'm a Certified Music Therapist and owner of Solful Music Therapy. I bring a calm, gentle, and playful approach to my practice, tapping into each person's unique song and strengths to empower them to reach their goals.

Upon earning my degree in Music Therapy from Acadia University, I went on to complete a year-long internship working in pediatrics at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto.

 

For the past 10 years, I have been working as a music therapist in Edmonton primarily supporting children with varying needs. I have also provided music therapy programming within seniors homes, adult day programs, and group homes.

 

My work with children led me to pursue Graduate studies at the University of Calgary focusing on autism spectrum disorder as well as supporting and enhancing children's wellbeing.

I enjoy a good tea latte, creating (in many forms), and being a mom to my 3-year old twin daughters and my infant son.

Bringing music into the day-to-day of parenthood has only reaffirmed the value of music and its positive impact, right from day one.
