Christine Fabian BMT, MTA

Hi, I’m Christine — a Certified Music Therapist and the owner of Solful Music Therapy.

I bring a calm, gentle, and creative approach to my work, using music as a way to support connection, expression, and well-being across the lifespan. My work is rooted in the belief that meaningful connection is at the heart of growth, learning, and wellness.

I earned my degree in Music Therapy from Acadia University and completed a year-long internship in pediatric music therapy at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto. Over the past decade, I’ve worked as a music therapist in Edmonton, supporting children, seniors, and adults attending community programs.

My early work with children sparked further graduate study at the University of Calgary, with a focus on autism spectrum disorder and children’s well-being. This foundation continues to influence how I create responsive and person-centered music experiences.

Alongside my in-person work, I create practical, music-inspired resources for preschool, kindergarten, and early childhood educators (and the families who support them). These resources are inspired by my background in music therapy with young children and a love of circle time, movement, and imaginative play.

Outside of work, I enjoy tea lattes, creating in many forms, walking in the fresh air, yoga, and life with my three young children.

Thanks for being here — I’m glad you found your way to Solful Music Therapy.
